Oil & gas drilling maps are raising the awareness of health and safety issues caused by living and working in close proximity to oil, fracking, refineries. The light blue pins show capped wells that could explode if they come under pressure from new drilling nearby. The blue pins in the map show fracking accidents, fracking water contamination, earthquakes from drilling, methane and hydrogen sulfide leaks, oil spills, pipeline leaks, pipeline explosions and oil and gas drilling blowouts. The map crowdsources the data allowing anonymous users to report health and safety issues directly on the map. Oil and gas lawyers will typically make victims of accidents sign confidentiality agreements during the settlement process and we want to know about these locations regardless.
