  • "Great alternative"

Normally I use Dover Calias but thought I would try this crossing. A great boat with good food options and a nice comfortable room. Added bonus of a good nights sleep leaves you feeling fresh a ready to drive the next morning.

  • "HULL TO ROTTERDAM AND RETURN"

We had a very pleasurable and relaxing trip to and from Hull on our recent trip to Europe. It was the ideal sailing for us, with time for me to relax and sleep in relative comfort and break up my journey with a comfortable nights sleep. The cabins were very good, facilities on board also very good, and have no complaints at all about either outgoing or return trips.

  • "Excellent service"

The ferries were immaculately clean, cabin facilities were comfortable and clean. The bars and entertainments on the ships were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. Bar and cafe prices were reasonable. We paid for the breakfast each way and it was good value for money with lots of choice. Guidance and directions on finding the correct dock for our return trip from Rotterdam should be better as TomTom couldn't find it and we were anxious that we wouldn't locate it in time for our sailing. We would definitely use P&O ferries and this crossing again.

  • Hull Guide

The English city of Hull, or Kingston upon Hull to give it its official name, is located in the ceremonial county of the East Riding of Yorkshire, in the north east of England. The city, and its port, lies on the banks of the River Hull where it meets the Humber estuary, around 40 km from the North Sea. The city's history dates back to the 12th century where the monks of Meaux Abbey needed a port in order to export the wool they gathered from their estate.

The Hull of today is very different from the Hull of the past and has undergone a transformation in recent years. The city was declared the UK City of Culture for 2017. The city's cultural and sporting heritage are clear for everyone to see. In the city, visitors should visit the Old Town and Museum Quarter, Hull Marina and The Deep, which is an aquarium located at Sammy's Point. From a sporting perspective the city is home to a Premier League football team, Hull City Football Club, and a Super League Rugby team, Hull FC Rugby Club.
