Little black dress with Belt

A look you can really never go wrong with is a great little black dress- it’s always an easy go to and black will be chic eternally (yes, even in the summer). Whoever says “black is too hot in the summer” just isn’t wearing the right fabric. This type of style (the dress I picked up from MADE x Macy’s collaboration) is perfect for warmer days because it’s lightweight, movable and loose. Great for pretty much any summer occassion; A party, a meeting, over your bathing suit, or out to dinner.
You can style a loose LBD so many different ways depending on where you are going, so I wanted to share with you how I put my own spin on it for a day out around Los Angeles, running to meetings and then to dinner.
First I added a belt and tied it in a knot around my waist. I love this look on a dress because it’s easy, stylish and effortless. Then I added a splash of color (but not much) with some good accessories- statement espadrilles (the perfect summer shoe), a big tote, white hat and sunnies.
